David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Acclaimed children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was made after an inquiry regarding reports of conduct deemed unsuitable towards women.
The company has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
