Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane landed based on standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a press officer said in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This incident does not mark the first occasion that a American defense plane transporting a high-ranking official has suffered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was required to turn back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
